No More Frustration After Vision Therapy
By Joanne, Brady's mom, Cinnaminson, NJ
Brady was eight and a half years old when he started vision therapy (VT). He couldn’t color within the lines. He was reading one and a half grades below his grade level. When writing, his letters were different sizes, he didn’t write on the line, and placement was all over the place.
Homework was a nightmare. He would get so frustrated with every task. He hated to read. He would do everything to not do his work. He never wanted to do writing assignments – always saying, “How about I say it and you write it!” His behavior was abhorrent. He would throw tantrums. Sometimes 15 minutes of homework would take two hours.
After five months of vision therapy, twice a week, Brady improved on all fronts… His report card was tremendous.
After five months of vision therapy, twice a week, Brady improved on all fronts. Within weeks, he was coloring beautifully-completely in the lines. His report card was tremendous. He is almost at grade level in Reading and his handwriting is fabulous-when he takes his time! He is an 8-year-old boy, after all!
